Vincent Jackson: Buccaneer Bound For Hawaii
Gerald McCoy will have company at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
Buccaneer wide receiver Vincent Jackson was added to the NFC squad Tuesday, replacing Detroit’s Calvin Johnson.
Jackson proved to be a great addition to the offense. He caught 72 passes for 1,384 yards and eight touchdowns. Of the three big free agents signed by GM Mark Dominik last spring, Jackson proved to be the most valuable and most productive.
He helped Josh Freeman break the 4,000-yard barrier. Jackson’s presence nearly created two 1,000-yard receivers for the Bucs. Mike Williams fell just four yards short of the magic number with 996 yards and 63 catches.
