John Garrett Leaves Cowboys To Coach Buccaneer WRs

Greg Schiano went to an old connection to come up with a new wide receivers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

John Garrett, older brother of Dallas head coach Jason, has left the Cowboys as their tight ends coach to join Schiano’s staff.

Jim Garrett, father of the two, worked with Schiano during his Penn State days.

It was a surprising move, basically a lateral move for Garrett. His brother has come under fire in Dallas.

The hire leaves the Bucs with one opening, that being the defensive secondary assistant.
