Greg Schiano now has four vacancies on his coaching staff.

He’s looking for a new quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach, defensive backs coach and now a new defensive line coach.

PewterReport.com, reports that Randy Melvin, is now the FORMER defensive line coach.

Who will replace him?

Keep in mind the Buccaneers have former linebacker Brian Cox as their “front seven” coach and he could slide into the defensive line position, or, he could simply become the linebackers coach.

As far as the rest of the positions, perhaps Schiano might consider letting Mike Sullivan wear a second hat, with a nice pay-raise.

You’ll remember that Sullivan was the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants, obviously instrumental in the development of Eli Manning. Now wouldn’t it make sense on some level to have him working more closely with Josh Freeman?
