Greg Schiano: “We’re in a tailspin”

You would think that the Philadelphia Eagles, sunk in the mire of eight straight losses and a 3-9 overall record, are deep in a proverbial tail spin.

In fact, you could say they are basically spinning out of control.

Dangerous team?

“Danger?” said Buccaneer coach Greg Schiano on Thursday, “No.” Schiano doesn’t see any danger for his team. “There’s been a spike in intensity,” he said of this week’s practices.

Eagles tailspin? “We’re in a tailspin,” Schiano said, pointing out that his team has now lost two games in a row.

With the team’s increased intensity, there will be some added motivation Sunday when a full-house shows up at Raymond James Stadium. This game is sold out and with the 10th anniversary celebration of the Bucs’ Super Bowl victory, tickets have become a hot commodity.

The Eagles stagger into this contest with a 3-9 record, they’re 1-5 on the road and this is a game where the Bucs simply need to take care of business.
