Atlanta Falcons Thinking 16-0?
Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White may have called up the jinx.
White, speaking to ESPN this week, believes the Falcons can go unbeaten this season, at least he feels his team has “the pedigree” to do it.
“I think we’ve go the pedigree to do it,” he said. “Offensively and defensively and how we are as a team. The locker room is very, very united right now.”
Well, you think? Of course locker rooms are united and riding high when a team starts the season 8-0 as the Falcons have.
They’re the favorite going into New Orleans on Sunday then after that they host Arizona then travel to Tampa then are at home against New Orleans. So it’s not far fetched that they could be 12-0 heading into the final quarter of the season.
They play at Carolina, where they will be favored then their biggest obstacle is a home game against the New York Giants. If they’re going to lose, that could be the one. If they manage to get past those G-Men, they play at Detroit then finish the season at home against the Buccaneers.
