Ronde Barber To The Rescue If Wright’s Suspended?
It’s been Ronde Barber to the rescue on the field at crucial times this season.
Barber may be called upon one more time to possibly make a return to his career-long position at the corner.
With storm clouds looming over the secondary with the probable suspension of Adderall-popping (allegedly) Eric Wright and Aqib Talib still sitting out his four-week suspension, Barber may get the call.
E.J. Biggers stepped up into Talib’s spot at the right corner and Barber could jump back in against the Raiders. If not Barber, the Bucs could choose to go with rookie free agent Leonard Johnson and perhaps use Barber back in the nickel position, the slot corner.
Brandon McDonald has done a good job in the nickel slot but has been hampered by an ankle injury.
One more go-round for Ronde?
Don’t count it out.
