Buccaneer Devastation: Carl Nicks Lost For Season

 

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got the worst possible news Tuesday when Carl Nicks, the fearsome offensive left guard, has been lost for the remainder of the season.

Nicks suffered a torn plantar plate in his left toe and will require surgery. Nicks made a huge difference for the football team, alongside Donald Penn, the duo has paved the way for the increased running success of rookie Doug Martin.

If that wasn’t bad enough the Bucs also found out that Danny Nobles is gone. The tight end suffered a hamstring injury that will end his season.

Both Nicks and Noble have been placed on IR.

Guard Roger Allen was activated off the practice squad to replace Nicks on the 53-man roster.
