Game Day For Tampa Bay!
WHO: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Redskins
WHAT: NFC non-division battle
WHERE: Non-sold out Raymond James Stadium
WHEN: 4:25 p.m. kickoff
TV/Radio: No television, blacked out in Tampa market; Radio 103.5 FM and 620 WDAE AM
Injury Reports: Two key players for the Redskins are questionable — wide receiver Pierre Garcon and offensive tackle Trent Williams. Wide receiver/return man Brandon Banks is also questionable. Running back Evan Royster, safety Brandon Meriweather are probable. Corner Cedric Griffin is out.
The only Buccaneer out is Anthony Gaitor. Carl Nicks, E.J. Biggers Dekoda Watson and Leonard Johnson are all probable.
Keys to the game: The Redskins offense revolves around wonder-rookie Robert Griffin III. He’s been an effective runner through three games although he was sacked six times against the Bengals last week. If Pierre Garcon cannot play, that hurts the Washington running game. The Bucs need to play stout defense and win the turnover battle. On offense, the Bucs need to be more imaginative in order to create a balanced offense. This is the week they need to get the receivers and tight ends involved because the Redskins secondary, coached by former Buccaneer head coach Raheem Morris, is no ball of fire. The offense also needs to get LeGarrette Blount more involved in the game plan.
